Took my hard bike ride last night, and drank water only. Maybe because water is not as yummy, and water hurts my tummy, I drink a lot less of it. I noticed it before. Now that the temps are below 100 in the evenings, I will ride with water for my shorter rides. I think it may be helping with weight loss due to the sodium and carbs, but who knows.
When it was OMG hot (110+), the heat made me drink heavily, and the water did mess up my gut. The elixers/gatorade's of the world, what have you, are much easier on your tum tum.
Yesterday's food choices were sound. Cereal breakfast, chinese lunch (small portions), and sensible dinner. Went over RDI by 300, but I also rode my bike 1.25 hours. So, not worried about it.
Anyway, gotta go! Cram for Exam!
