J called me this evening to let me know he's being sent to Korea and China on Wednesday for two weeks (or maybe more.) He'll come home tomorrow evening to pack, and will leave very early on Wednesday morning. Our 36th wedding anniversary is on the 8th, so we'll be celebrating it on separate continents. Bites!! But, I will wait to change diets till Wednesday, as I will have the 2 week induction while he is away. I am not totally sure which way I want to go!! I lost 30 lbs on the Rice Diet, but it is very restrictive and not a lot of fun. Oh, and I regained 15 lbs after I got off it, even with eating healthy. I will probably go South Beach, as it's not very far off from what I've been doing, really.
J did give me some good news, however. He is buying the tickets tomorrow for us to see Aretha Franklin in Indianapolis at the Jazz Festival in June!! I LOVE Aretha!!!! All his travel does have a few perks, as we'll be staying at the downtown Hilton for about $10, due to his frequent guest points. When we go to France in August, we'll be flying business class for free, too. But he has made a LOT of trips across the ocean to earn those points. Still, some companies keep them, and don't let the employee use them, so I must be grateful for that.
