I am really struggling with appetite control. Once I start eating I cannot control myself. Anyone out there with tips on what I can do to solve this problem. Otherwise I will fall off this healthy eating plan as I have always done before. I need something to change this time because I really need to lose weight.

Have you had your sugar tested? My doc explained that if its out of whack, one will constantly feel hungry.

I have to leave and do something after eating otherwise I won’t stop. Either I go for a short walk of go do my shopping or study etc

If you feel you are hungry, drink some water and wait 5 mins , if you still feel hungry then drink some tea or coffee and then if you are still hungry, then eat something that is wholesome and will sustain . Something like boiled eggs for example. Sometimes our body notifies us that it’s “hungry” but in most cases, it’s actually letting you know it’s thirsty. Don’t think about food :) I took food groups off my social media because seeing all those delicious foods had only put food back on my brain. Small things really help.

Keep a huge tub of cheap protein powder in your kitchen - when you feel the snack-attack coming, shake up a double serving - thereafter try have a bag of crisps, you will seriously struggle. Protein shakes also help a ton with balancing your macros for the day.

Put apple cider vinegar in your water for the day. Only 2 teaspoons. It helps with appetite control

Thanks everyone for the support and comments. I will try the apple cider vinegar, I keep some in the house.
I usually try and eat healthy and always less than my allocated calories but sometimes the old habits try and sneak back. I will take all your advise and see how I cope. Thank you so much.
