I'm addicted to this homemade smoked mackerel quark pate. Almost fat free, loads of good protein and I have to limit myself or I'd scoff the lot!

It's really simple. Just a 250g tub of fat free quark in a blender with a skinned and deboned 250g pack of smoked mackerel plus lemon juice and pepper. Blended until smooth!

I shall snaffle that too. I miss the snoek pate from the deli in Fishoek and this sounds like a good alternative!
