I visited some friends last weekend after a horribly stressful week. There was wine, there were nibbles, then some beer and after that some nachos with cheese; quite a lot of cheese as I recall. The net result being that I avoided going near the scales for much of last week whilst trying to get back onto the straight and narrow.
This morning I am pretty much back to where I was at the end of last week. It is frustrating that an evening of indulgence costs me a week of hard work, but I guess that's how I got myself to this weight in the first place.
Let's see how long I can stick to the plan this time. I have an interim goal of getting below 100kg by the end of the month. That's 2kg which should be achievable in two weeks if I can control my eating.
