I can't believe I've done it again.......I stick to my points for most of the week and then at the weekend I go way way over the top.....two creme egg mcflurries in as many days and a chippy dinner last night.... I was feeling much slimmer and healthier and in just over one day I've gone back to feeling bloated and fat and yucky.....I'm more diasppointed in myself for letting me do this to myself. I don't understand why I do it - and that's what worries me most....

Well, today I am in work - so far I've been up for nearly 4 hours and I haven't eaten anything. I'm going to have some toast in a minute. Lunch will be subway and I MUST have a salad - any more bread will just bloat me even more.....dh is making dinner for when I get home at 7:15pm.....as long as he keeps it los point maybe I can pull something back for weigh in on tuesday. Fingers crossed....again

Those darn McFlurries! All in all, it's not the end of the world. And if you figured out the points it would probably not be as bad as you think. If you want to try to understand what causes the temptation to strike, you have to really examine the situation. It is defnitely a weekend thing. How is your schedule different? Are you with different people? Are you alone at more times than usual? Do you feel more stressed? Are you feeling deprived? What were you doing right before you decided to go to McDonald's? Examine your answers to all these questions and you will probably come up with a profile of what triggered the splurges. Once you have an idea of what the triggers are, you can work on strategies that will help you counteract them. And don't forget how aweful you feel afterward, both physically and mentally. Try to remember those feelings the next time you are tempted. And if all else fails, plan a McFlurry into your weekly points and use it as something to look forward to and enjoy. That way you are in control of the McFlurry instead of it being in control of you! You can get through it and learn to overcome it. It just takes time. You've done so well already. Be proud of your accomplishment! You can do it!

I agree with evelyn on finding out what is going on around the situation and Also planning the mcflurry into your points and enjoy it! The puzzle pieces we have to work with are numbered by our points each day. How it fits together is up to you. There are so many 0 or 1 point foods you could enjoy on your mcflurry days. You are doing so well! Don't let this get you off track for the rest of the week.
