I’ve been doing really well with my diet and exercise. My PT gave me a good routine to do that’s finally working for me but I’ve got conferences and travel all next week and I’m worried that I’ll just be too tired to keep the exercise up.

I’ve really tired hard recently to overhaul things, limiting carbs, sugar and dairy (mainly because my skin suffers!) and have managed to get a routine that works for me. I really don’t want to let it all slide next week, but I can’t take my 20kgs of weights on a plane with me! And Geneva....hello chocolate and cheese temptations....

Does anyone else struggle when they can’t control their environment? I’m sick of having to prep and plan all the time, especially when I’m working long days and I’m tired.

Mini-whine over!

Yes, all the time. When possible, I try to book a hotel with a treadmill and/or swimming pool. My strength training (fairly minimal admittedly) relies on bodyweight so I can do it anywhere with a decently clean floor. Eating while on work travel is a big problem as it's hard to eat as healthily in restaurants. I do what I can and know that I'll have to make up for what I couldn't do when I get back home. Geneva has great food and drink options, so be selective about the treats :)
