It's a baby shower at work day! Yay~ I love these! Fun times and good food. I will be skipping the cake of course. Trying to be a good girl! :) My friend and I found a Diaper Genie online for $8!!! Great deal. So that plus some cute outfits from Children's Place are going to be our gifts.
My best friend called me last night all upset about a fight she had w/ her boyfriend. I was on the phone w/ her for over an hour trying to console her. By the time I was done talking to her, I felt mentally drained. I didn't work out. I saved it for tomorrow (which is now today). At the time I didn't care but now I'm disappointed in myself. Sigh. Today is a new day.
I'm going to the beach this weekend (Rehoboth) for a belated Mother's Day celebration w/ my mama. I'm going to take her shopping and out to dinner. The weather is supposed to be beautiful, so I'm looking forward to it.
THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1) Nice weather
2) The excitement of new little one coming into the world soon
3) That I am in a happy relationship

The beach how nice. I can't wait till it is warm enough to go to the beach. The gift sounds great and you were a very good friend to support your friend when she needed you. It shows what an awesome person you are. Do not be disappointed in yourself. Today is a new day!

Baby showers are fun!! Have a great time and please do not follow my example and indulge in the cake!!! A major weakness of mine. CAKE. It is mentally draining to be 'there' for someone who is upset. How wonderful of you to take the time to do that ... and you CAN exercise today!!! Your belated mother's day celebration sounds lovely!! Are you all done with school??? Have a good one!!!

regarding ur friend, i think what u did was a good thing. you were there for her, and at that moment, she needed u. missing that workout isn't gonna kill u. :) BUT i totally understand what u mean. enjoy ur weekend with ur mom!!

Having a baby shower at work sounds like fun - here, we are just slaves chained to our desks LOL And the beach sounds nice too - I don't know what the temps are supposed to be here, but not beach weather! Have a good one buddy!
