I can't weigh myself at home, only on a public scale in a pharmacy, but it is too far away and, by the time they are open, I should have already had my breakfast. So I'm quite uncomfortable, because I only use a jean as a guide to lose weight and I'm supposed to be fine, because it fits better and I have my progress photos. How do you handle do not weigh yourself?

scales can be as cheap as $10-$20, I would get my own.

I recently bought a nice digital scale and paid $25 for it, but you can get them cheaper.

I normally weigh myself after brekkie or lunch (sometimes in the evening). Never in the morning. Clothing can be surprisingly heavy though (I enerally do it in socks, panties and bra... don't think that'll go down too well at the pharmacy! Hahaha). Are you in the US?

maybe a monthly measuring? Clothing fit can be a good guide but not always reliable. Depending on how it's laundered, temperature, humidity, and how often it's worn, clothing can fit differently from one day to another.

Measurements every 2 weeks; and try for the same time of day and wearing similar clothing. You can take an extra outfit and weigh it, to see how much clothes are adding.

I like the measurement way, it shows where your losing it and helps with confidence too. With keto it is a faster better way of knowing that it is fat your losing and not just water

I weigh daily. It's like having more data points on a graph - it gives a clearer picture of what your body is doing and how it responds to what you're doing to it.

I wish I had a scale! I use my skinny jeans as a guide to see how they fit, freshly washed and dried. I can tell by pictures of my face as well

I don't bother weighing myself...weight fluctuates so much; its not worrying about. Best way I found is in the way you feel and how you look in the mirror. I find it best to take a selfie (full body)..and then look at it about two weeks later. You'll see if you're making progress. I only weigh in once a month..just for a bench mark..I have whole stack of clothes now I can't wear cause they're two sizes too big...I keep them as proof I am getting thinner/fit.. (works for me anyway)

The pants don't lie. I am up over the comfortable pant situation so I know I have to get back on track!

Hate to weigh in public. Only at home.

I have a couple used scales. I live in Wichita Falls, Texas. I could send you one. Allen

If you weigh after a meal on a consistent basis you can tell if your weight changes. Adding to your difficulty will be that you'll be wearing clothes, so you'll have to try to wear the same outfit.

Just as you did. It's not only weight it's size. Healthy muscle is much heavier than fat so the scale can actually hurt if you only use it as your guide. I have a pair of pants(tags still on) that only come up to my thighs(they were only at my calves when I bought them) I put them on once a week to see where I'm at. Onve they button the tags come off and cha cha cha. I've done this six times in 15 yrs. I went from 367 to my current 235. It works.

Thanks Allen, but I'm not in the States :c Btw, I measure myself, then put the jeans (Bershka, size Uk 4) and I take a pic. I think I'll be fine

I take measurements and the scale is just a guide. I only weigh once a week mostly to keep a baseline value and a point of reference. I think your jean technique is probably a better guide for progress.
