Yesterday, I had the opportunity to go to a free concert in the park, which ended up being held in a community center because of threatening rain. I went with my brother and SIL, and some friends of theirs; afterwards we went to a local park and hiked the trails until the Park Rangers encouraged us to leave, because of the approaching darkness. We had a very good time; the band was top notch, but the kids were getting restless, so it was time to head for the park. I'm thankful for the great music, and the opportunity to just hang out, and burn up some calories. :-)
