After years of not eating popcorn suddenly I find myself wanting some for a snack. Many of the kids at the school I work at bring it as a lunch item(?) maybe that’s why I’m thinking about it. So, what’s my healthiest choice. Last night I ate some at the movies....I KNOW that’s not it. Dislike microwave types, and the additives they have. Thanks

You can get an air popper that is fairly inexpensive, that way you can put your own flavorings on it.

+1 on the air popper. I got a small one at Target for about $10 and it pops the perfect amount for one person. Then I add real, melted butter which is so much better tasting. Salt to your own desire and enjoy. Even better is to use pasture butter.

I LOVE Buddha Bowl's sweet and salty. Skinny Pop makes one that's similar but their popcorn is kind of meh. I like big fluffy kernals. I'm an air popper from way back, but I love butter too much... I can take something perfectly fine, like popcorn, and turn it into six million calories.

I pop it in a microwave dish. I got it at target for $8. Makes great popcorn.

I use brown paper lunch bags. Open the bag wide, put the kernels in, fold the top over 3 times and let her rip in the nuker until the popping stops (about 2 minutes).

I use the brown paper bag in the microwave too. I do 1/4 cup kernals for 3 minutes. Makes about 3 cups popped. Season of choice. I use butter.

I said earlier I use 1/4 cup. It is actually 1/8 cup of kernals.
