Came in under my calorie count today, but just. I’m realizing I consume too many carbs due to all the fruits I eat... Bananas, cherries, applies, mangos... so Once I eat through the fruits I have I’ll be looking into less carb dense fruits to substitute. I have quite a sweet tooth, so if I don’t have something I’ll end up looking for pastries and such... which I definitely don’t need.
I munched a lot today I feel like. I could have done better but I was weak. 😩
Thinking of trying to fast tomorrow and most of Sunday since I have the weekend off. My good friends daughter’s birthday party is Sunday afternoon and promises many not so healthy options... I’m tempted to tote already by some things to munch on so I’m not so tempted. I’m so determined I to start dropping these lbs.

I also realized today that I’m a pant size 8, which is bigger than I’ve ever been. I wear skirts mostly, so I hadn’t really been able to gauge just how much I had really put on... I was a 3 just a year ago... 😩

Look for high fiber fruit then the net carb count is lower: berries, apples, avocado. Or low density fruit that is lower calorie like watermelon

Pants come in different sizes depending on the designer so take some measurements as well

Sounds like a good idea. Fat loss is on hold, while the body get busy with removing excess sugar in the blood. The sugars will otherwise caramelize and block the arteries. Only when there is no extra sugar to take care of, can body fat burning begin.

I find it easier to fast when I am busy. I will want to eat because I am bored. So I would fast durring the week. If I faster on the weekend I worked out a lot.

me too! I'm on a Keto diet but I'm eating some fruit and not much fat. Hope it works.

Adef, I thought about that, because I’m definitely a boredom eater, but I have a physically demanding job. I’m prone to dizzy spells if I exert myself too much on not a lot of food, so that makes me nervous. I may have to try, though.

Diablo, yeah, I’m giving myself kudos for that, at least.

Carolyn, I’ve read great things about the keto diet, but being vegan makes it challenging to get enough protein and the right kinds of fat, I think. I’ve been meaning to look into vegan keto solutions. Maybe I’ll do that tonight.

Abba, right! I read the melons are a good way to go, which is good because it’s melon season here in Texas!

don't try Keto and Vegan diet at once. I have the same problems with carbs. Just put some more exercise into your daily routine :)

I find watermelon challenging because they're so big, so once I cut it up it dominates my diet for days. Pineapples are more reasonable and the chunks keep for a good few days in the fridge. I can usually trick myself into going easy on the bananas if I only buy half a dozen at a time.

keto and fruit just don't work. if you love your fruits you should just do a reduced carb reduced calorie healthy diet plan.

only fruits on keto are berries and those are limited you would think fruits would be a good choice however way too much sugars involved

Gypsieslament - When you reduce your NET carb intake to a max of 20g/day - you will reduce insulin to a point where you your "sweet tooth" will disappear. Your cravings will dissolve and you will have peace in your life. As long as you maintain clinging to higher carb foods, you will continue to have an insulin response and you will continue to crave more sugar. So - indulge in a coffee with heavy cream (whipping cream) in the morning. Have a hunk of decadent Gruyere mid-day, take in the fat to keep you "full" and cut out most "sweet" carbs and a small miracle will take place. I had bought some blueberries and strawberries and saw how they made my NET Carbs climb, so now I have a 6oz container of Organic Raspberries in the freezer and if I want a mid-afternoon treat - I have one or two of those and the Natural Raspberry flavour/sweetness is truly Explosive. This is my experience. I have experimented with absolutely everything, I am 47, and this is now my answer :)
