have you tried it with real butter or heavy cream. I thought I would hate it as I am an avid coffee nut, but turns out to be pretty good. It's almost time for my IF.

I've never done it but I have looked into it. I'm just hesitant because of the caloric intake.

Yeah the butter adds in 35 cals on top of the 5 for coffee versus the 1 tbs milk adds only 9 cals on top of the 5 for coffee. So for those counting calories on a fast that adds a lot. sorry I wasn't thinking like that as I don't ever count calories just carb/protein/fat ratios. Maybe try it when not fasting. For me it does give a push to my met burn when needed.

Thank you for the tip. How do you make it? Just add butter?

yes, that's it. I use just a pat like you get at restaurants. Some people add in coconut oil too, but that does not do me well...

I add mtc oil to mines ! And it sucks because I manage a dunks and you can drink as much coffee as you want 😒

I also add MTC oil to my coffee. It doesn't hurt my weight loss at all.

Also, this may sound really odd, but I do not worry about calories when fasting. For the past two weeks I have been putting 100 calories of heavy cream into my morning coffee. It has 100 calories but, only 1 carb. Stuff like this is why I take in 600+ calories while 'fasting'. I consistently still drop a pound a day.
