Jill-gill's Journal, 04 May 10

Been to see a different Primary School this morning. There are numerous reasons why I am thinking of moving my children but it is so hard to go ahead and take the leap! Especially when the school they are at is a very good school. Its hard to know what to do for the best when your decision will be a final one and you can't return.

That is hard! We were faced with that as well when hubby and I were dicussing leaving our home and community of 12 years... where our children were raised and we had wonderful jobs, a great church and friends... to re-join the Air Force and move our teenagers. Prayer is all I know that helps and even then, we have had many times where we have second guessed our decision. No matter what you deem best, God will honor it and be with you all!

I know, I have been praying and asking for God to make a decision for me! Obviously he hasn't replied directly (!) but my head has been filled with positive reasons for moving soon after prayer so I think he is telling me something. The school they would be leaving is known as a really good school but the teachers are very snobby and I think a lesser school puts more effort into the children. Will see how it progresses!

That must be tough, may the Lord give you peace as you take on this new journey, I can't imagine how hard it would be to leave my community and church body. My kids would not be happy, but God is in control. The blessing may even be greater in the new location!
