My game is strong! I was offered carrot cake by a friend by the way I know how delicious that café's is... I resisted but it was actually not that difficult. I ate my lunch and watched him enjoy his cake. We had a lovely conversation and life continued. I'm not sure I can ever truly enjoy cake etc without thinking of its damaging effects. I wonder if I'm being too strict with myself but when I weigh the health benefits it's worth it, I'll find other ways to spoil/treat myself...new lip gloss whatever

You definitely not hard on yourself, it's not worth the cake and calories, you'll feel good in the moment eating it but afterwards the side effects comes in, by choosing a sexy outfit or lip gloss is far better.
