Having a hard time with cravings today. Feel like I want to eat all day. This is the first time in a LONG time. Trying to examine myself. I haven't slipped... no extra stress than average...except going to the doctor today about my feet and back. Got good news that it isn't my spine again! WooHoo! Oh well, keep on keeping on...

sometimes cravings can reappear with hormonal changes during the middle or near the end of your cycle. could that be the culprit? either way, good job on not giving in to any - keep up your water, and try to find a new activity to take your mind off food for awhile! :)

Thanks for the ideas! Trying to drink a bunch of water...which is what I do when I want to eat. I don't have my female parts any longer so it isn't that. Good idea...if I had had time, I would have worked on the quilt I have cut out.

I could be wrong, but even without those "parts", I do believe your system still has some production of hormones - and even they can be triggered at what would have been your monthly cycle...just a thought. Considering your news (and stress) regarding your back condition, it is more likely the physical side of what is going on "in" your body. Pain can trigger and send signals to the body to retain fluid, and save fat - as a protective response - to whatever is going on as well. We were created with such amazing attention to detail - it's mind boggling - and knowledge is power - so start doing some reading on that back condition - and be sure to go for a second opinion. (surgery, especially on the back - should be the ultimate last resort). But you probably know all that already, huh? Praying for you - love, Paula

I have those days Suzie when You just have cravings for no reason. I say to myself that we are bound to have these days when we want what we can't have - if it was easy to lose weight we'd all be thin - its a drug and the addiction doesn't go away , with time it hopefully gets forgotton!
