Who'd of thought going to school and dieting would be so hard? I'm getting so frustrated with myself now because when I get lunch I really don't have many options; either the main lunch (you can guarantee has high carbs) or the sandwiches (all white bread and cold cuts) leave me with no good alternate. Of course I could bring lunch but finding the time to make something is pretty tough. If anyone knows of good and simple recipes that last in a locker for a few hours let me know because I could really use some good food to stick to my diet.
Other than that I've avoided a lot of junk food (excluding Sunday, the Superbowl food was irresistible lol) and I think I'm heading in the right direction, not quite for detox but I'm settling out pretty well.

I googled "diet friendly bag lunch"... http://www.howtobefit.com/lunch-ideas.htm http://www.webmd.com/diet/guide/brown-bag-lunches-that-make-grade http://busycooks.about.com/od/lunchrecipesandmenus/a/morebrownbag.htm Those were just the top three; there are a ton more.

Salads hold up great, that's what I bring and just stick under my desk. Raw veggies, & fruit. I sometimes add fruit to my salad (manderine oranges or grapes). It may sound gross, but it is very good (at least in my opinion, lol). If you can, try to prepare some of it the night before so you're not rushing around in the morning.
